How to do it effortlessly?
So, a simple way to do it is to Pizza out of the pizza box and place the pizza nicely on a clean plate. Now place the plate in the oven. Now take a mug and fill some water in it. The mug must be at least filled with water more than half. Now place this mug with the plate in the oven. Reheat the pizza for 45 seconds.
If the cheese has gone sticky and hot again and the pizza crust is soft, your pizza has been reheated perfectly. If the pizza is not reheated perfectly, start the oven for another 30 seconds. Check the mug if it still has water in it. If the water level is below half mug, add some more water to it.
The purpose of keeping a water-filled mug is that as the water is heated, it creates water vapors, but the closed lid of the microwave oven does not allow the water vapors to leave it. So, the water vapors are absorbed by the pizza beside it, and it is not getting hard or soggy.
What if I don’t have a microwave?
If you do not have a microwave oven with you, do not throw away your pizza leftovers. Instead, you can try heating your pizza in a skillet. First of all, heat your skillet on a medium flame and put your pizza slices in it. Cover it with a lid. Now let the pizza be heated for about 3 to 5 minutes. But make sure to turn the flame too low. It takes more time than microwaves because you are indirectly heating the pizza.
While using a Skillet, keep pizza size in consideration. If the dough is a thick crust pizza, it will take time for about seven minutes. If it is a thin crust pizza, it would be heated in about 3 minutes.
